Please pray for:

  • Each particular church within the Czech Baptist Union has its very specific emphasis. Please, pray for the unity in significant issues and mutual tolerance in all insignificant issues.
  • About fifty refugees from Burma found an asylum in the Czech Republic. They are from the Chin tribe. Because they are Baptists we are working on establishing of a Chin Baptist Church within of our Union and give them a spiritual background. Please, pray for their good integration to the new environment in the Czech Republic.
  • Several American missionaries work together with some of our churches on establishing of new churches, which is very difficult here in the Czech Republic. Please, pray for blessing on their ministry for establishing new churches.
  • The churches within the Union do their own social work. They organize clubs for children, youth, and mothers with children and also work with Roma community. Some churches are engaged in ministry with problematic youth, addicted people and to people discharged from a prison. Currently the social work faces financial problems. Some facilities had to close their activities. Please, pray that our churches could continue their social work to people in the Czech Republic.
